Cute Boys

I am only 2 mom-you think I won't make a mess with "basketti"??
"
Here I am -I dressed myself! Shoes on the wrong feet-but they're on!

Asleep-as usuall!

Here I am-I do wake occasionally and you can see my dark blue eyes!

So things have been pretty good here. I am back to work as of last Monday and it has been nice-tiring but nice. I am physically ok-mentally/emotionally-so so. I thought I'd share some pics. Hunter is so proud (am so am I) that he dressed himself entirely on his own. He was throwing a tantrum when I tried to get him ready so I left him to work it out in his room. When i came back in I didn't even notice that I had left him in a diaper and came back to him dressed down to his shoes (ok they're only crocs, but they're shoes nonethless) and Brady is just Brady. Cute. He is 5 weeks old now and doing well. Still sleeping all of the time, but starting to be a little bit more alert. Both kids are no going to the sitter when I am at work and that is working out well too so I am thrilled about that. By the way. I just heard from adam on his trip and he has kille dhimself a 6 x 7 Elk which he is obviously thrilled about-maybe I will be off of permanent deer widows weekend and not have to ba single mom anymore with that out of the way!! Yahh-Go Adam.

You'll Always be my Baby!

So I thought I'd share this photo-sadly enough, Hunter is right on the limit for weight in this-he is barely pushing 25 lbs! He climbed in and although I scolded him, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a picture of my "baby". I Love him!

Baby Boy

here are some updated pics of our newest little one-he is growing so fast! he will be 4 weeks old on friday which in turn means that I will be returning to work on Monday. I feel bittersweet. I am ready to go back to work, but it is sad how fast time goes and my baby is getting so big!

Happy Halloween

So things have been good here. Normal 2 year old struggles, but not too bad. Hunter loves his brother and is always stroking his face and asking "what matter baby" when he cries. It is really cute. We had a good halloween, I was glad the weather panned out. Michelle and I took the kids to gardner village and let them ride the ponies and we also went to Autumn Fest at our church. Hunter had a good time, but it was getting late and he got cranky. He played games and won his own 2 liter of orange soda! Trick-or-treating was also interesting, again-it was getting late and those of you who know Hunter know that when he's done-he's done and he is pretty regular on his bedtime. So when I refused to carry him from house to house instead of him walking or riding in the stroller-he melted down. therefore, I melted down too. All in all it was fun and good times with friends.

Oh Fluey...:(

So the wonderful update in our lives... Mom has the flu. Yes with a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn, perfect timing right? And to boot, I believe that I have gotten a breast infection on top of it all. Good times. Anyways everyone else is well, baby is cute and growing cuter daily, he will be having his 2 week check up on Friday and Hunter is scheduled for his flu shot-go figure huh? Well, better run, just thought I'd update while I have nothing better to do than sit in bed all day. Yahh!!

More Pics!

At Home and Comfy

Ready to Go! Leaving the Hospital

Me and My daddy and brothers!

My Mommy and Me in the Hospital

My daddy loves me too!
I have been trying unsuccessfully until now to post some pictures so i might as well go for it while I have a minute....

Welcome Baby Brady!

So as most of you know by now, we have a new member in our family! Although he has been making himself known for the last few months-he has finally made an appearance. We went into the hospital on Friday Oct. 9th for our scheduled induction (I was already dilated more and having more contractions so I think that he would have been coming sooner than later on his own regardless) they started pitocin around 9:00am and things were moving along at a fair pace. Things really picked up after the doctor broke my water about 1:00pm after that it really just flew by! The epidural wasn't as effective as it was with Hunter so I was feeling some discomfort and pressure which wasn't horrible, i just wasn't expecting to be feeling anything. I was complete just after 3:00pm and so they called in the doctor. We started pushing at 3:32pm and he arrived at 3:37pm I can handle 5 minutes of pushing! He was bigger than I was sure I was having at 7lbs 10oz and 19 1/2in he looks very different from what Hunter looked like at birth, but no less adorable! It was very emotional and and great! i couldn't have asked for better. We stayed at the hospital for a traditional 2 day stay and came home on Sunday the 11th. things are going well and big brother is adjusting-a few glitches here and there but that is to be expected!

Short update!

So I have not been very diligent about blogging and updating. between work, and Hunter and Hunter and work, I find very little time for anything else and when I do, my pregnant butt wants to sit around and do nothing-that includes lifting a finger to even the laptop to update! Not much new has been happening, I will post some pictures from the family reunion to Bear Lake when I have more time but other than that our lives have been as I stated before-Hunter, work, work, Hunter and doctors appointments. We are now 30 weeks into this beloved pregnancy and surviving the heat well-I don't feel any hotter than anyone else in 100 degree heat! I just try to avoid being outside and stay in well air conditioned areas! We have been throwing out potential induction dates for delivery as this baby seems to be interfering with a very tight schedule! By that I mean-Hunting!!! Adam has 2 hunts-rifle and elk that are one right before and one right after my due date and then there's my O.B. who is going to be leaving town right on or after my due date of the 16th of October. So to try and avoid a potentially disastrous situation we are trying to head off any complications and make sure that both of them are in attendance with me here at the hospital on the 9th or 10th of October, unless of course this baby decides to just come whenever he feels like it and then we could all be screwed! Either way, I have a great suuport system with plently of back-up people ready (they plan to be there regardless-and beter be :) but it just wouldn't be the same without those two specific male figures! Until more news breaks or I have time to update with pictures this will have to do!

A Day at the Parkway

As you can tell from previous posts, we love to go to the Jordan River Parkway. It is the nicest place to go walking and there is plenty to entertain the kids....rocks, leaves, ducks etc. Tristen and I took the kids (Mackenzie and Hunter) out for a picnic and walk to go feed the ducks. Maybe a change of scenery is all you need to get a kid to eat because go figure, I haven't seen Hunter eat that much in......well, ever! They ater lunch then chased around beach balls on the hill while the mommies finished eating.

After lunch we walked on and found the ducks. There were so many different sets of new ducklings and everyone knows the babies are the cutest! They had from throwing the bread and trying to hit the ducks! It was a fun day and the kids were pooped! I know mine took a nice nap!

Mothers Day

We celebrated a really nice Mother's Day. We had a relaxed afternoon when we got home from church. Mom got the light nice treatment around the house and then we went for a walk along the Jordan River Parkway. It was a perfect day and the weather wa beautiful! A great way to celebrate being a MOM!!

"mow"

So we are training Hunter young. He loves to "mow"! Anytime that Adam goes out to mow the lawn, Hunter is right behind him pushing his "mower" that is really a push toy that turns into a wagon, but he loves it! He follows Adams every move it is really cute!
